Mark Padgett Rockin' The Vote and Going All-In

Mark Padgett is currently following through with what he titled “Rock The Vote” (a nonstop campaign for the last 24 hours before the polls open).

 

He began at 7:30am this morning and a full schedule is planned through the day, the night and into tomorrow morning until 8am (Election Day).

 

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7

  • ·      7:30am – Human bill-boarding at the corner of Lyons View Pike and Kingston Pike
  • ·      8:30am – Interview on 100.3 FM/WNOX’s “Ed and Bob Show”
  • ·      11:00am – Visit the East Knoxville HQ (3907 Martin Luther King Avenue)
  • ·      12:00pm – Lunch/visit with patrons and workers at the Round Up Restaurant (3643 Sevierville Pike)
  • ·      1:00pm – Lunch/visit with patrons and workers at the Lunch House (3816 Holston Drive)
  • ·      2:00pm – Lunch/visit with patrons and workers at the Lonsdale Market and Deli (3208 Rudy Street)
  • ·      4:00pm – Human bill-boarding at the corner of Neyland Drive and Kingston Pike
  • ·      5:00pm – Visit the West Knoxville HQ (5410 Kingston Pike)
  • ·      (**NEW**)--7:00pm – LMU versus UT men's basketball (Thompson Boling arena)
  • ·      (**NEW**)--8:00pm – Dinner/visit with patrons and workers at Sequoyah Grille (4429 Kingston Pike)
  • ·      9:00pm – Monday night football at Buffalo Wild Wings (1912 Cumberland Avenue)
  • ·      11:00pm – Drop-by Western Avenue Strike and Spare (5700 Western Avenue)

 

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8

  • ·      12:00am – Drop-by/visit with patrons and workers Waffle House (119 Cedar Lane)
  • ·      1:00am – Visit Bo Bennett and tour 911 Dispatch Office (605 Bernard Avenue)
  • ·      3:00am – Drop-by Kroger’s to buy food for Knox Area Rescue Ministries (KARM) (4409 Chapman Highway)
  • ·      4:00am – Drop-off food donation to KARM (418 North Broadway)
  • ·      5:00am – Breakfast/visit with patrons and workers at Waffle House (6230 Paper Mill Road)
  • ·      6:00am – Breakfast/visit with patrons and workers at Krispy Kreme (6201 Kingston Pike)
  • ·      7:30am – Human bill-boarding at the corner of Lyons View Pike and Northshore Drive

 

As I pulled up the plan I couldn’t help but wonder what he was going to do in the late night hours but I soon found that those stops were the most creative and genuine. I’m particularly intrigued that he’ll be shopping at Kroger and delivering food to Knox Area Rescue Ministries (Knoxville’s Biggest Homeless Shelter).
